Life as I know it today

Life is great, but extremely busy!! My days now consist of waking up at 5 am for clinicals, or 7 am for institute meetings and staying up late studying and doing homework. When I am not studying I am at work. Suprisingly I am so happy though! It is good to be busy and working hard and I am grateful for all that I am learning and experiencing now. Nursing is tough and many times I feel a little overwhelmed or inadequate, but it is great to be reaching this goal of mine. Hopefully my grades stay high and I can continue in this endevor until I am finished. (although there are times I wonder if I want to :) jk!
And just for anyone that is wondering (I usually get asked this question) I am not dating anyone seriously. . . There are many long stories that are connected to this, but I won't go into that. It is fun and I am getting to know a lot of great guys. I actually went on a date this weekend and had a lot of fun with a guy named Kyle. We'll see where it goes. :)

First Two Years. . .

I finally updated my Blog can you believe it!! I am at home for Fall Break now so I have a little bit of time. Well as I have been thinking about and going through this year at school, it has been quite different than my first two years. I decided to reminisce and share all the fun times I had my first two years.

So Long Summer

Well, Summer is almost over. School and work have been going really well, but of course keeping me busy! I have finals this week and then I have a week break before the fall semester starts on August 20. My grades are acutally pretty good, so hopefully they will stay that way after the final, but the nursing program is great. At first it was a little overwhelming and it will probably continue to be at times, like in the fall when we start clinicals and pharmacology, but it will all be worth it! (hopefully ;)
So that is about all that is happening with me right now. . . I would put more pictures up, but I don't have a digital camera. I am hoping my mom and dad get a new camera for their mission and I get to keep the old one, then I will put some sweet pictures on my blog! (i'm crossing my fingers)

Back In Switzerland :)

Chase is officailly a missionary again and on his way to Switzerland as we speak (or as I am typing I guess. . . ) I saw him on Saturday and then we said our goodbyes yesterday on the phone. It was a really good five months to be able to see him and spend some time together. He is amazing, very dedicated and will do so much good over in Switzerland. Good Luck Chase :)

$ Money, Money, Money $

So I have been very blessed. . . I have found not only one job in Price, but two. And no money is not all that matters, other than it will pay my rent and feed me (I just couldn't think of any other title) but anyway, I was offered a job by the Ambassador office here at CEU just for the summer giving tours and working in the office while the other Ambassadors are gone for the summer. Even though I am technically not an Ambassador anymore, they still may use me here and there for some things. . . like now. The hours work really well with my schedule, so for a summer job it's perfect.

I just had an interview today at an Assisted Living Home, to do CNA work. This will be great because I can stay up on nursing as I am in school, becoming one. The interview went really well, and I am pretty sure I got the job, but I'm not sure if I should say that yet. It will be working every other weekend, so it won't interfere with my other little summer job at all. These two jobs are perfect for just starting out here and to last me for the summer, but if possible I will continue to work at the Assisted Living Home for as long as possible. This is definitely a blessing to have these jobs, the hours, the pay, and that I only have to do nursing care on every other Sunday. There are not many places here that you would not have to work on Sundays. I figure though, that the elderly, let alone any injured or ill person cannot take care of themselves on Sunday so it is a justifiable service to preform on a Sunday. I will still be able to go to Sacrament meeting every Sunday. I am really excited to start work, this has definitely been an answer to prayers.
