Christmas Time in Price

We had a pretty intense snow storm this week. Altogether between last week and this week we have probably gotten around 8 inches of snow and it has stayed for more than a day which is rare for a winter in Price.

Here is our cute little appartment. Thanks to my roommate Shaully we have these festive decorations. It makes it feel very homey and Christmasy. I love living here!

P.S. Those little dots on the walls are little Christmas bows that you stick on presents. Oh and for Fall and for Thanksgiving we had leaves all over our walls. Shaully has a lot of fun with the seasons :)

For an institute activity this weekend we decorated gingerbread houses. We decided to go a different way and try a round house. It was fun to try and get it to stay standing, but we finally did it.

Havin Fun With My Roomies :)

My roommate Shaully and I covered in paint after the Lite-Brite dance. And what is college without having a facial night with your roommates?

Look What I Did!!

The other day I got sick of my hair so I impulsively had my friend Cassidy, who graduated from CEU cosmetology, cut it. I just wanted it off so she cut about 6 inches. I really like it and it will always grow if I want it long again. Anyway, I just needed a change.

Life as I know it today

Life is great, but extremely busy!! My days now consist of waking up at 5 am for clinicals, or 7 am for institute meetings and staying up late studying and doing homework. When I am not studying I am at work. Suprisingly I am so happy though! It is good to be busy and working hard and I am grateful for all that I am learning and experiencing now. Nursing is tough and many times I feel a little overwhelmed or inadequate, but it is great to be reaching this goal of mine. Hopefully my grades stay high and I can continue in this endevor until I am finished. (although there are times I wonder if I want to :) jk!
And just for anyone that is wondering (I usually get asked this question) I am not dating anyone seriously. . . There are many long stories that are connected to this, but I won't go into that. It is fun and I am getting to know a lot of great guys. I actually went on a date this weekend and had a lot of fun with a guy named Kyle. We'll see where it goes. :)
